You will all hate me for this
This song is going to be in your head for the rest of the day. Read on.
When I wake up in the morning And the clock lets out a warning I don't think I'll ever make it on time By the time I got my books I give myself a look I'm at the corner just in time to see the bus fly by It's alright cause I'm saved by the bell If the teacher pops a test I know I'm a mess And my dog ate all my homework last night Ridin low in my chair she won't know that I'm there If I can hand it in tomorrow it'll be alright It's alright 'cause I'm saved by the bell. It's alright 'cause I'm saved by the bell. It's alright 'cause I'm saved by the bell.

THAT’S THE WAY IT IS
Swaying away from the current theme a little bit, but I think I can top that....
I can read your mind and I know your story I see what you’re going through It’s an uphill climb, and I’m feeling sorry But I know it will come to you Don’t surrender ’cause you can win In this thing called love When you want it the most there’s no easy way out When you’re ready to go and your heart’s left in doubt Don’t give up on your faith Love comes to those who believe it And that’s the way it is When you question me for a simple answer I don’t know what to say, no But it’s plain to see, if you stick together You’re gonna find a way, yeah So don’t surrender ’cause you can win In this thing called love When you want it the most there’s no easy way out When you’re ready to go and your heart’s left in doubt Don’t give up on your faith Love comes to those who believe it And that’s the way it is When life is empty with no tomorrow And loneliness starts to call Baby, don’t worry, forget your sorrow ’cause love’s gonna conquer it all, all When you want it the most there’s no easy way out When you’re ready to go and your heart’s left in doubt Don’t give up on your faith Love comes to those who believe it And that’s the way it is When you want it the most there’s no easy way out When you’re ready to go and your heart’s left in doubt Don’t give up on your faith Love comes to those who believe it And that’s the way it is That’s the way it is That’s the way it is, babe Don’t give up on your faith Love comes to those who believe it And that’s the way it is. |

Set in my ways
Losing track of the days Never getting caught up But love was never brought up... It's not the thing to do Spending my time Just holding the line Only me to live for Had no need to give more... than I wanted to Oooh--Oooh! It was you-- Then came you! You made me leap Without taking a look Oooh--Oooh! It was you-- Then came you! You reeled me right in-- Line, sinker, and hook I never thought forever Was the best I could do Then came you... It was you and me and you... THEN CAME YOU! Suckas! Last edited by oykib : 05-01-2004 at 10:47 AM. |

Best. Theme song. Ever ... especially the drum solo.
It's time to play the music It's time to light the lights It's time to meet the Muppets on the Muppet Show tonight. It's time to put on makeup It's time to dress up right It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight. Why do we always come here I guess we'll never know It's like a kind of torture To have to watch the show And now let's get things started Why don't you get things started It's time to get things started On the most sensational inspirational celebrational Muppetational This is what we call the Muppet Show! In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team

I think they actually did have a short and long version on the show, although I remember the short version being used most of the time. I may be wrong. The short version cut out the part starting with "I begged and pleaded" and ending with "like lightning disappeared".

classic (since like the mid-90's)
The dream was broken Seemed like all was lost What would be the future Could you pay the cost You wonder, Will there ever be a second time around? Woah-a, woah-a When the tears are over And the moment has come Say "My lord, I think I found someone" And no one would be better To be putting it together For the second time around We got the woman and man We got the kids in a clan Only time will tell If all these dreams fit under one umbrella Step by Step Day by day A fresh start over A different hand to play The deeper we fall The stronger we stay And we'll be better The second time around Step by Step Day by day {Day by day} A fresh start over A different hand to play Only time will tell But you know what they say We'll make it better The second time around |

You can count on me.
No matter what you do. You can count on me. No matter where you go. I'm standing by your side. I'll be right behind. No one loves you more than I do, Put your hand in mine. I can see a part of me in you. A little something special that comes shining through. I hear it in your laughter, And I feel it when you cry, I will be right there for you, Until the day I die. You can count on me. No matter what you do. You can count on me. No matter where you go. You can count on me. |

Look at what's happened to me,
I can't believe it myself. Suddenly I'm up on top of the world, It should've been somebody else. Believe it or not, I'm walking on air. I never thought I could feel so free eee eee. Flying away on a wing and a prayer. Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me. It's like a light of a new day, It came from out of the blue. Breaking me out of the spell I was in, Making all of my wishes come true ue ue. Believe it or not, I'm walking on air. I never thought I could feel so free eee eee. Flying away on a wing and a prayer. Who could it be? Believe it or not it's just me. |

It's a rare condition, this day and age,
to read any good news on the newspaper page. Love and tradition of the grand design, some people say it's even harder to find. Well then there must be some magic clue inside these tearful walls Cause all I see is a tower of dreams real love burstin' out of every seam. As days go by, we're gonna fill our house with happiness. The moon may cry, we're gonna smother the blues with tenderness. When days go by, there's room for you, room for me, for gentle hearts an opportunity. As days go by, it's the bigger love of the family. |

I'll third that Erin Gray thought.
And you know, I actually like the SBTB song. Go figure. (I also buck the conventional wisdom in liking Elizabeth Berkely in that show more than Tiffany-Amber....)

One of my personal favorites:
This is the theme to Garry's Show, The theme to Garry's show. Garry called me up and asked if I would right his theme song. I'm almost halfway finished, How do you like it so far, How do you like the theme to Garry's Show. This is the theme to Garry's Show, The opening theme to Garry's show. This is the music that you hear as you watch the credits. We're almost to the part of where I start to whistle. Then we'll watch "It's Garry Shandling's Show". This was the theme to Garry Shandling's show. Note: You think it's bad having these songs going through your head now? This is MY ENTIRE LIFE. It's painful, yet beautiful. So no one told you life was gonna be this way
Your job's a joke, you're broke, your love life's D.O.A It's like you're always stuck in second gear When it hasn't been your day, your week, your month, or even your year But ... I'll be there for you When the rain starts to pour I'll be there for you Like I've been there before I'll be there for you 'cause you're there for me too. |

I actually like the full song but I'll just bold the TV shows' short theme of it, I love Scrubs by the way.
Out the door Just in time Head down the 405 Gotta meet the new boss by 8 am The phone rings in the car The wife is workin hard She runnin late tonight again Well I know what I’ve been told U gotta work to feed the soul But I can’t do this all on my own No I know I’m no superman I’m no superman And you've got your love online U think you're doin fine But you’re just plugged into the wall And that deck of tarot cards Won’t get u very far There ain't no hand to break your fall Well I know what I've been told U gotta know just when to fold, But I can’t do this all on my own No I know I’m no superman I’m no superman You’ve crossed the finish line Won the race but lost your mind Was it worth it after all? I need u here with me Cause love is all we need, Just take a hold of the hand that breaks the fall Well I know what I’ve been told Gotta break free to break the mold But I can’t do this all on my own No I can’t do this all on my own No I know That I'm no Superman I’m no superman I’m no superman (Some day well be together) I’m no superman (Some day) (Someday well be together) (Someday) I’m no superman |

Shorty seems to have missed that we're focusing on shows before 1995, which is the year he was born.

Don't go changing, to try and please me
You never let me down before I don't imagine you're too familiar And I don't see you anymore I wouldn't leave you in times of trouble We never could have come this far I took the good times, I'll take the bad times I'll take you just the way you are Don't go trying some new fashion Don't change the color of your hair You always have my unspoken passion Although I might not seem to care I don't want clever conversation I never want to work that hard I just want someone that I can talk to I want you just the way you are. I need to know that you will always be The same old someone that I knew What will it take till you believe in me The way that I believe in you. I said I love you and that's forever And this I promise from the heart I could not love you any better I love you just the way you are.

You take the good, you take the bad,
you take them both and there you have The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life. There's a time you got to go and show You're growin' now you know about The Facts of Life, the Facts of Life. When the world never seems to be livin up to your dreams And suddenly you're finding out the Facts of Life are all about you, you. It takes a lot to get 'em right When you're learning the Facts of Life ... Learning the Facts of Life. Learning the Facts of Life ... Learning the Facts of Life. Learning the Facts of Life.

My Favorite theme song:
Sometimes the world looks perfect, Nothing to rearrange. Sometimes you get a feeling Like you need some kind of change. No matter what the odds are this time, Nothing's going to stand in my way. This flame in my heart, And a long lost friend Gives every dark street a light at the end. Standing tall, on the wings of my dream. Rise and fall, on the wings of my dream. The rain and thunder The wind and haze I'm bound for better days. It's my life and my dream, Nothing's going to stop me now. |

We run. We jump. We swim and play. We row and go on trips
But the things that last forever... are our dear friendships Camp Anawanna, we hold you in our hearts. And when we think about you (it makes me wanna fart!) It's 'I hope we never part'. Now get it right or pay the price. Now we will share a lifetime of the fondest memories. By the lakes of Anawanna.. Sat in the old pine trees. Camp Anawa-.., we hold you in our hearts. And when we think ab-.. (this thing came apart) Think Anawanna-wanna, speak Anawanna-wanna.. Live Anawanna-wanna! Ugh! |

Baby you and me, we gotta be The luckiest dreamers who never quit dreamin’. As long as we keep on givin’ we can take anything that comes our way Baby, rain or shine, all the time We got each other Sharin’ the laughter and love (sharin' the laughter and love.) |

We're Tiny, We're Toony, We're all a little looney
And in this cartoony, we're invading your T.V. We're comic dispensers, we crack up all the censors On Tiny Toons Adventures get a dose of comedy So Here's Acme Acres it's a whole wide world apart Out home sweet home, it stands alone, a cartoon Work of art The scripts were rejected. Expect the unexpected On Tiny Toon Adventures it's about to start They're furry, they're funny, they're Babs and Buster Bunny Montana Max has Money. Elmyra is a pain Here's Hamton, and Plucky. Dizzy Devil's Yucky. Furrball's unlucky, and Gogo is insane At Acme Looniversity we earn our toon degree. The teaching staff's been getting laughs since 1933 We're Tiny, We're Toony, We're all a little looney. It's Tiny Toon Adventures come and join the fun And now our song is done. |

One of my favorite all time shows. My mom and I were recently discussing a scene from this show where Larry and Balki (sp?) were in the living room with skis on pushing each other back and forth. My mother swears to this day she's never laughed as hard. |
