My post is merely re-emphasizing that which had already been stated, and Markus has since posted that he has found a way to address the most grievous issue. Why even bring this up at this point?

Markus has already posted the main fixes for patch #2 is AI roster management. Batting order, depth charts, defensive alignments, etc.. The waiver issue will be looked at for a future patch. I wonder just how close Markus is to releasing the patch? I sincerly hope the AI roster management is improved substantially. Todd |

here some more news from Markus
Markus Heinsohn News on depth Chart and Waivers.. In case you miss Markus Heinsohn news on Waivers he said. "Actually, the code is there that the user has to put players on waivers before removing them from the 40-man roster. I only disabled it because I couldn't get the AI right to handle it the same way, and to prevent too much micromanagement. Should probably look into this again.. OK, you won. I messed up But I'll have some good news for you for the patch. Looks like I found a good way to implement what everyone is asking for: Waivers for 40 Man roster moves and irrevocable/revocable waivers!" And News on Depth Charts He said "The way the AI sets up the depth charts has been totally recoded. However, the way it uses utility players in games for starts can not be really enhanced because the game does not store data when the last time was a player started at a certain position... unfortunately, this cannot be fixed in a patch." |

This scares me. Recoded? Shouldn't this of happened a few versions ago? It sounds so simple, yet it's been a problem since v2. Ahhh... I'll see what the patch does before I gripe too much. Todd |
