Anyone know anything about Daleroy Stewart? The Jets picked him up since Josh Evans may need season ending surgery. Doesn't look like he's played much.

He's a tough player, but short on talent.

So in other words he tries hard but sucks. Pretty much sums up every guy here not in the NFL.

Good to know. Hopefully he won't be relied on too much.

Actually, he got released because he wasn't even trying hard anymore. Parcell's really like the guy, and even though he didn't do squat in the preseason he kept him on the roster hoping that he would show something once the real games started. After a bad showing on Sunday he was shown the door...

Well if Parcells couldn't motivate him, this might be a tough task. Though Herm is no slouch in the motivation department, so maybe it's worth a shot.

Parcells thought he could be "a force", but he was too "passive".

I think the release reeked of something more than just performance (personality conflict maybe). One minute Parcells is singing the guy's praises and talking about how he can really contribute, the next he's on the street with little warning. I don't dispute the fact that he didn't show a great deal, but he certainly wasn't horrible, and I would think that if Parcells saw something in him, it'd be worth hanging on for a few more weeks at the very least.

If you are getting cut from the Cowboys defensive line, it's not saying much.

Might be a useable spare part, nothing more.

Maybe he was a Pices and Marcellus Wiley was an Aries.

Darn, all the Cowboys fans already said what I was going to. I think it can be boiled down to "Stewart is a tease." I thought we were going to have a good rotation at DT this year....

This is common knowledge regarding Kordell.
