Playing poker and a text sim at the same time
Has anyone mastered this feat? I can not do it, as I have to have full concentraion on one or the other. I wish I could do it, as I could get profit and fun at the same time.

You usually play 3 tables at the same time? I would imagine this took a long time to practice. I would guess it keeps you tight, as you arent playing just any 2 cards, cause you might have a better hand somewhere else?

I drafted a very good QB at the top of the class, snagged Jorg in the 2nd round (Defensive rookie of the year), and grabbed a weird-looking RB in the 3rd round (2,000 yards and O.Roy). We made the conference finals in year 1 (with 53 new players). I guess it just means the game is too damn easy. edit: and I gave all of my first draft class the nickname '77' (2077), so that i could easily track them once they're off my squad. Hence the 77 between his first and last name.

I usually play 3-4 tables, but only 2 if I'm watching TV (I have to drop the screen resolution for the TV tuner to work, so I can't fit 3+ tables easily). I do feel that it does make it easier to play well. You're not as tempted to play borderline hands when 3 more are being dealt at the same time. This time of night I play 4 for as long as possible (I'm wrapping it up right now). The daytime is much tougher., but at night people are practically handing their money over. |

I play 4 tables at a time, usually, but the stakes are no more than $.05/$.10 at each. It keeps me occupied.

one last thing - definitely gotta go with the 4-color deck if multi-tabling. I made a couple pricey errors before I figured that out. It cuts out any 'oh shit, I thought those were suited!' errors.
also, I've got the no-chairs mod going, because I find the chairs/icons way too distracting (particularly when multi-tabling). it's needless clutter. |

Which of the online poker "houses" are those screenshots from? It's got a very clean look, style-wise, compared to what I stared at for most of yesterday.

That looks like EuroBet to me, which is a skin of PartyPoker. However, I think CT is using the Chip Litre no table/no chairs mod there...

It's a different front end for the exact same system of games. It's usually almost as busy-looking, but I'm using modified graphics. Party has a bunch of skins (Empire Poker, Coral Eurobet, Intertops, PokerNOW). If you're playing Party or Empire, check out this guys webpage for graphic mods: hxxp://www.chiplitre.com/

This thread has some information in it. I feel the discussion wasn't complete, so I'm curious as to what software would be worth trying.
