How have we not discussed the John Cheney Debacle?

I mean I count on this place keeping me in the loop on anything happening that is even remotely sports related. How can we not be talking about a guy who sent a player out on the court to assault fellow college students, and then admitted about it in a press conference?

I've never been a Cheney fan. In fact I have always considered him to be one of the most classless coaches around. This should be the end of his career.

It sickens me how they constantly turn the other cheek for this guy...

His freak out at Calipari years ago (threatening to kill him), his choice words for Ohioans this year and now this. It's really ridiculous.

What annoys me about him more than anything is that he seems to have a holier than thou attitude after each incident. He seems astonished by the fact that people have the nerve to attempt to call him out for such incidents. He ends up trying to act like the victim. At this point, I think that Temple is afraid of pissing off Bill Cosby so they keep looking the other way.

The guy is an ass and I've never liked him. Amazing how he still has his job.

I think it isn't discussed because we know somewhere in the thread someone will say something slightly stupid and be called a racist.

So to beat them to it... he gets leniancy because he's old and he's black... thats 2 power groups that people try not to piss off.

To put it in perspective, imagine the response by the media if Bobby Knight did this? Cheney has just as much of a checkered past as Knight as well.

Well, Cheney didnt choke his own players, or throw chairs at people. Knight was far worse.
