very interesting Edgerrin James quote

Quote of the Week

"We're like the Jackson 5. To everyone on the outside, it looks like we're tight as hell. Then we go home, and it's Jermaine in this room, Tito in that room, and Randy ain't talkin' to no one. When you get up close, it's all dysfunctional."
-- Indianapolis running back Edgerrin James, to SI's Mike Silver in a column about the interpersonal dynamics of the Colts' offensive stars.

That is perhaps the strangest analogy I've ever heard.

Wait...there's a Randy?! Why does he know this?

I get the impression James would like to be traded.. If I were the Colts I'd probably consider it heavily. I think he's easily the most replaceable of the major parts of their offense, and the FA market is heavy in RBs this year.

Well, Manning and Wayne had it out on the sidelines and don't forget "that idiot kicker." I'd say they're dysfunctional in plain view. Then again, Manning is the common thread here . . . hmmmm.
