Help transferring files

I'm getting my son a new PC later this afternoon. My question concerns "downloaded games" such as OOTP, FOF, etc: As long as you unlicense the game first, will the games work properly if you copy the entire folders from the old PC to the new or do you have to download each game again? I know the saves will need to be transferred but wondering about the games themselves.

Thanks

You would be better off installing the game on the new PC.

edit: And by that I mean if you have the ability to transfer the directories, why can't you just transfer the .exe for the installation program.

just install it on the new pc again. but be sure to unlicense from old computer first.

also save your league folders, you can copy that into the correct folder after you install ootp for example.
