Free pdf software

Does anyone have any experience with any of the free pdf conversion software packages available? Any recommendations on which ones are best?

Hopefully this is what you mean, but I've used Pdf995 for a long time and it works great: http://www.pdf995.com/

It allows you to print to a pdf file, thereby allowing you to save a pdf file from any application (by simply printing and choosing the pdf995 "printer").

Antmeister mentions one here that might do the trick for you as well.

Let me add my endorsement of pdf995 -- I eventually purchased most of their entire line (they offer with-ads shareware or w/out-ads with purchased).
