I am hoping for a good series. No real rooting interest BUT geez Buck-McCarver AND......Lou Pinella? Whose calling the game on radio?

I like how they're giving the people a glimpse of what the different pitches are. I used to hate watching with my ex-gf and having to explain the different pitches and other nuances. It's better than random banter of theirs.

Pinella isn't that bad, at least he's a baseball guy. And he's prone to make a dumb comment.

Here are 2 things I yelled at the TV while watching the game last night. Should sum up how I feel about game 1.

1. "Was that Jermaine Dye...bunting??"

2. "WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!?!?" (in reference to AJ trying to steal 2nd base)

I don't mind losing when a team outplays the Sox. I do mind losing when the Sox repeatedly shoot themselves in the foot. I hate stupid baseball.

I didn't get home until 8:30 last night and couldn't for the life of me figure out who the 3rd guy was, until I heard them talking about beating the Indians and McCarver mentioned 'Lou.' So, for 5 innings or so, I was trying to figure out who he was by voice alone, and all I could come up with was a composite of who I assumed he might be - an 85 year old ex-manager/GM with a voice made for the mute button. Seriously, I've never heard Lou Pinella speak before, I guess, and I never want to again. I couldn't even tell you what he said, because I was so fixated on how badly he sounded while he said it. It was worse than listening to Peter King.

Agreed. Pinella was horrible, but not as bad as the Sox.
