god make this pain go away
I hurt my back a few weeks ago and since then life has sucked. The pain has now crept into my right leg and that leg is now constantly stiff. Hot showers were helping but I think they are hurting me now. It is 4:40 am here and I haven't even been close to sleep and the muscle relaxer i took didn't help. God I am miserable...

Visit a chiropractor. I had some back pain a few months ago, went to the chiro, and while it's scary as hell to hear the cracking, I felt about 400% better afterwards and haven't had any pain since. |

That was going to be my second suggestion. When I severely fucked up my back a couple Christmases ago pushing up an ungodly heavy bell, it took a combination of acupuncture, massage therapy, a cortisone shot, and a chiropracter to fix it.

Yep, I'd rather go to a chiro than a "regular doctor". Doctors prescribe drugs or surgery for back pain. Chiro's fix the problem.
I twisted my spine up pretty good. After about 3 visits I was feeling better. |

I hurt my back a few weeks ago too. I woke up walking around like a hunchback. It turned out that I had just strained my lower back muscle, and the pain has pretty subsided and my flexibility has returned. However, during my research I noticed that doctors recommend a visit if you experience spreading numbness or pain to the legs. Just a heads up. |
