PS2 Games
I know that many of you have PS2s and I am interested in what you think the best games are. I like platformers and FPSs the best, so my votes are for:
Ratchet and Clank Jak and Daxter MofH: Frontline Red Faction 2

Ratchet and Clank is a great game, i love all the different weapons, and the graphics are great. I liked Jak and Daxter as well, but it got boring after a while to me. For sports, Nba 2k3 was a great one, great franchise mode for a console game. GTA 3 and GTA Vice City both made a huge impact on gaming, and the amount of freedom you had made it so addictive for me.

I like:
TimeSplitters 2 (far and away the best shooter on PS2) Ratchet and Clank (fun even if you don't like platformers, highly polished) Madden 2003 (great dynasty and online) NCAA 2003 (great college experience) War of the Monsters (fun against a friend) Hot Shots Golf 3 (fun golf with wacky characters but good physics) Rumble Racing (good, arcadey racer) SSX (great snowboarding game) Games to avoid: Turok Evolution - awful piece of crap Any 989 sports game Last edited by Kodos : 01-27-2003 at 01:34 PM. |

Favorite Games
Madden 2003(especially if you have some buddies with the Network adaptor) NCAA 2003 NCAA Basketball 2k3 Gran Turismo(the number of cars and races is amazing) Metal Gear Solid 2(great game, great story) Tony Hawk 3(Great game, now 4 is out so it might be better) |

I don't have a PS2, but for X-Box NBA and NHL 2k3 are by far my favorite games. I have no reason to believe they'd be worse on PS2.

GTA3
GTA: Vice City Gran Turismo 3 NBA Street (made by the same people that made SSX... it's more like the old NBA Jam than anything, but I had a great time playing it and beating all the teams with it. Great fun w/ friends too, my sister and I play the hell out of it when I go home and take my PS2 with me) Madden 2003 Anything FIFA |
