I see we now have the quote of the moment.

Investigating it shows that there are currently 4 quotes in the system, but the only one that ever comes up is Easy Mac's kleenex quote. Is it broken already?

Ahh...I mentioned this in another thread: when you add a QOTM to the system, either PING or PM Ryan and/or me, so we can activated it. QOTM is modded, but we receive no notification when one is added.

I just refreshed the screen 10 times, and always get that kleenex quote. It makes me feel guilty.

I saw Quik's quote when I was on earlier this morning. I wonder if it works like the arrows--I am told that you have to be offline for about 15-20 minutes before it considers you logged out.

Until there is a larger pool of quotes to choose from, the quote script will sort of get stuck on one. It was the same way on the FOBL boards....once you get 20-25 + quotes in the database, you'll start seeing variation.

If anyone has any quotes to add to the list, feel free to submt them. If you are wondering what to put in the letter column in the submit form, put any letter you want in there.

You can even submit your own quotes because the submission process is anonymous.

If anyone can remember the start of the "waste of speed and bandwidth" quote from Quiksand, can you tell me about it, as I want to fix that quote.

We should keep the letters with the users first letter. CamEdwards' quote under X doesn't seem right.

Also, we should not use quotes. As it is now, about half have quotes, half don't.

I've added about 7-8 and continuing now... itd help with the old board up though.. I'm runnin on purely new material!

Ryan, have you seen if you can change the wrong letters, like Cam bein under X and such?

I added two a couple of days ago that I don't know who to attribute them. The first is the "Deep Blue" quote about QS. The second is the "cohesion" quote, both are listed as Unknown. If anyone knows who said/wrote that, please make yourself heard!
