Online Photo Scanning
Has anyone here ever used an online photo scanning service, like ScanCafe? I have about 250 old negatives that I'd like to have made into digital prints. I called my local camera shop, MotoPhoto, and found out that they charge 0.25 cents per negative. I came across ScanCafe this evening and they only charge 0.19 cents per negative. The main difference between the two is that ScanCafe only charges you for the negatives you want to keep and not for the entire roll. Can anyone vouch for ScanCafe or a similar service?

Well since no one replied but I see this got a few views, I can assume at least a couple of people are also wondering about this service. I've found out that ScanCafe sends your negatives to their California facility for processing and then to a plant in India where the actual process takes place. As a result, it takes roughly two months to get your originals back. Despite the price difference, I think I'll just take a few negatives down to the local store and pay a bit more rather than sending my negatives all the way to India.
