I've done this before, this time was my best score ever though, 40k points in level 10. I usually make it to level 7 or 8 and fall apart. I know nothing about Africa and eventually I get a place I am not even sure which continent its on. Edit, total score: 349893

Yeah, the Africa stuff is hard. I got 47,000 or so on level 10, and it made me stop.

Made it to level 11. Pretty freakin hard on the final levels.

I do notice that they do Australia (and larger countries) a lot in the later levels. At that point, it's no longer enough to actually put it in the right country, you have to have an idea where it is in that country...

Messed up the scoring last time I posted...just made 361264 on level 10. Those African and South American small countries give me fits.

Dola- what really kills me is these little island nations off the coast of Africa that I have never even heard of and take a wild guess.

I think the hardest quiz is the flag one. I couldn't get past level 7 until my third try. I ended up finishing the quiz with 346,354. The Oceania quiz was harder then the Africa part. Some of the islands they asked about were so small, they didn't show up on the screen.

I have done well on all of them, including finishing the US one. The flags I can't get past round 4 though. I am horrible at flags I guess.

that's because you are more concerned with wifebeaters, it's understandable.

On the US only I got 1km on something. On the world I think my closest was 13, but I could be confusing it with another map/game.

I do think some of their locations are off just a touch.

Level 11 and just got busted by a host of obscure Australian possessions that I had no idea where they were. Finished up with 516,782 and 49,621, short of the 55,000 needed to get to level 12.

I'm pretty proud of how I did on my first try:
301k level 10.

And Africa, like it seems to do with others, just kills me. The big thing that helps me is that when I taught last year I made the kids memorize the states and capitals. Kids could then become "Geography Masters" by learning the location of countries on other continents (it went North/South America, Europe, Middle East, Asia). By the time they completed Asia it seemed like they'd had enough so I didn't make them learn Africa, which means I never learned it by grading their attempts .

Closest I've got is 9km from Honolulu but that was either in the North America/USA map. Closest on the World map is 20km from Milan.

That is what I hate, using a laptop I have occasionally tapped in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, which is not real close to Moscow last time I checked.
