Who is RomaGoth?
Let's shine some attention on this newbie. All I know about him is that he is a fan of more teams than I thought was humanly possible. Having just joined on 11/30/07, he is posting at an astonishing rate of 16+ per day . That blows away the marks set by legends like Jeebs and EF27.
So what the hell are you doing here, how did you end up here, and will you ever slow down your posting? (and since he blasted me for a "personal attack" in another thread, please understand this is all in good fun). |

I am honored that I get my own thread. In the words of Bad Company, "seems that I hit the big time at last". Actually, I stumbled across this forum shortly after buying FOF and liked it so I stuck around. In answer to the other questions, I am here because I am bored as hell at work right now so I can post like a madman , I ended up here after purchasing the FOF game, and I will probably slow down my posting once I get busy at work again (sometime after the holidays). I have numerous interests, so nearly every thread in this forum will be touched by my opinion at some point. Here is a little about me so you all have a better idea of who you are dealing with: I was born in Idaho. Grew up in Michigan. Met my wife in Arizona. Now live in Idaho again, as an adult this time. Also did 4 years in the Navy, am a college student in my senior year, and work full time as well. Also have three kids: 6, 2, and 5 months. I spent much of my younger years drinking, smoking, and generally wasting my time (and other people's as well). The last few years I have settled down, had kids, and finishing my college degree before moving on to my master's degree. As for the teams I like, considering how many teams there are in professional and college sports, I don't really think I like that many of them. I like 3 NFL teams (Miami, Detroit, Pittsburgh), 1 NHL team (Detroit Red Wings), 1 NBA team (Detroit Pistons), 2 college football teams (Michigan & Miami), and 2 MLB teams (NY Yankees & Detroit Tigers), although the baseball thing is starting to fade for me after all of the cheating and lying going on. Hope this helps you all figure out how to deal with me. I do not generally take things personally, I only ask that you do not insult my family. Everything else is fair game and all in fun. Peace.

Trust me, RomaGoth, anything I try to do to your wife would not be considered an insult.
At least not in any civilized country.

It is a word puzzle game that we used to play on this board called Winter words. The goal would be to try to create the most winter words with the least number of letters. You would have to post each word in a different post however, and the person with the most valid posts at the end of the thread won. |

Right, except that everybody who doesn't win gets all their winter word posts deleted (Barkeep49 is the mod in charge of that - he goes around deleting posts with words like Tannenbaum or furby). |

No. He's the love child of Dave Klinger and Andre Ware. So, he doesn't acknowledge the existence of the NFL.

Umm...err....raise your hand if you thought the Wings made a mistake by trading Klima to Edmonton for Joe Murphy. Ok, now raise your hand if you think the Wings made a mistake by trading someone (can't even remember who it was and too lazy to look it up) to LA for Jimmy Carson. Thought so.

Great, another offspring of 2 overrated sports figures, one of which even won the Heisman. As if the children of Nomar Garciaparra and Mia Hamm aren't too much for one society to take already.

Uh... Klima was traded WITH Murphy and Adam Graves FOR Carson (and Kevin McLelland) with EDMONTON. Trust me, young H_B cried a little bit when Petr Kilma got traded.

Sorry, I couldn't remember the exact details anymore. Actually, the one that REALLY made me sick was the Adam Oates to St. Louis for Bernie Federko and Tony McKegney. That one made me throw up in my mouth a lot. The Wings have since become much better and more astute in player moves. Well, except for those Uwe Krupp/Darian Hatcher deals. Meh....

Good point. In my defense, however, they are not posters on this board nor do I know them personally. Also, aren't public figures pretty much open to ridicule at any given time? I mean c'mon, we could bash the Bush family for days, no, weeks..... Edit: In addition, I lean much more towards Republican than Democrat, but even I think the Bush'es (?) are pathetic.
