The Firesale continues......... Hartford Confirms

We get a 5 star calibur catcher (I didnt get one in any of last seasons deals) who will complete my infield for the future, and picked up another promising 1b in Hampton and 2nd in Warren......

Riggs will be missed in the rotation and DH Corona wasnt helping me win 70 games as a DH, and nobody expressed interest in him for 2 seasons, so when an offer came I jumped......

Hartford

1B Bill Hampton- Hampton never made it to a big league roster

C Devin Johnson- Another one of my guys that never ever played to his potential. Devin played in Hartford for 8 seasons mostly as a part timer. His average average was 260. He hit 49 bombs with 234 RBI'S. His total VORP was 48.6

2B Glenn Warren- Another spect that never played an inning in the majors.

Quad City

SP Gabriel Riggs- Riggs pitched 6 years for Chicago/Quad City. He went 57-42 with an average ERA of 4.07. He struck out 758 batters and had an average WHIP of 1.43. His Total VORP was 60.7

LF Alejandro Corona- This guy played 4 years for DC and was a monster. Not bad for a guy I couldnt get rid of in a trade to save my life. His average average was 311, hitting 58 bombs with 295 RBI'S. His total VORP was 135.4. He was also a 2 time all star in Chicago and won 1 gold glove in the OF. Again not bad for a guy I couldnt give away and then eventually did here

Evaluation

Again DC shows his skill and just crushes me in a deal. It wasnt even close as Chicago wins in another killer deal.
