I ought to pull for the AI, just to be an ass.

But I can't....they knocked me out of the playoffs!

I guess if I have to root for someone, its gonna be Chief. Sorry Baltimore and Apex!

Hammersmith has beaten Baltimore all three times they have faced each other in the FOOL Classic (2043, 2044 and 2051). Can the Charm break the streak here? If Baltimore wins, they will be the first franchise in FOOL history to have 11 FOOL titles!

Both Okamoto and Aitken stick around for another season to try to work on the record books.

The new file is up!

Take tomorrow off for everyone to calm down and we'll start a new season on Thursday morning. For those on the east coast, enjoy another snow storm.

Thanks Tasan! Although, unfortunately, I lost.

Truth be told, this might have been the weakest team I have ever had reach the playoffs. I didn't deserve to win it all (although sucks to lose to the AI--at least it's muns' franchise).

Pretty shocking for Holmes to pitch so bad in the key game. He actually was pretty poor this postseason.

CONGRATS BALTIMORE! WONDERFUL! (and yes I'm still bitter about Apex passing me up )

On a very very sad note. My laptop has died :P
It was damaged. It was doing okay, then the opsys blew up due to adware. I got some of the data off then a "helping" "friend" blew it completely away.

So I've resurrected my old desktop. Luckily I found my ootp9 info in my email account online.

I hope I didn't lose anyone to FA.

Sorry to hear that, CF.

Some good news, though--we don't roll over to the new offseason until Thursday morning. So you have a little time if you need it to get things straightened out with your computer before you actually lose anyone to free agency. If you need to make extension offers, let Alan know; I'm sure he'll help you out (he can tell you what they're asking for, too, I would bet).

Good luck with your computer.

Nice job Muns! I might just have to have "basketball season" so I can win one too!

What do you say Alan, wanna adopt the Winemakers? You know you do! Oh, I should mention that I'm going to be in North Carolina for a long weekend starting Friday so, unless I fix my computer situation tomorrow, I probably won't export again until Tuesday at the earliest. (Or is it all a clever ruse to use AI to get good like Baltimore?)

Well I got ootp9 up on my old desktop and got things taken care of. The funny thing is the only people that were ready for free agency were either minor leaguers or wouldn't talk to me.
