Once upon a time, I remember Chief on one of his teams had two guys with the same first initial and last name. it drove me crazy keeping the two seperate from one another.

We are pleased with our team this year but we still feel we are a year or two away especially with Rawlings and Franco in the minors. They'll be in the rotation in a year or two which will round out with Cull, Henry, Rawlings, Franco and Tizzard

Ended up paying twice this year for Barraclough. I cut him in an effort to free up money to make a run for SP Border. I just barely lost out on Border, and then had to scramble this sim and put out a big offer on Barraclough again to regain his services. Not fun at all.

Maybe so, but I was tired of just missing every year on a top arm. I am still chafed about the Jim Carr negotiations.

I understand. That keeps happening to me as well in FOOLX (which is why I have been happy just flat developing pitching here in FOOL).

Border's a solid pitcher. Not like you're not getting a good arm there. The frustration with him is that he has GREAT talent--but never seems to pitch that way. Typically, he had his best year this past season in his contract year. Even so, he was always a bit underwhelming, and when he asked for a ton of money after his contract year performance, it made my decision easy.
