LAst Couple Weeks In My neighborhood

Well, life has taken an exciting turn in my neighborhood. I will say this first. we live in one of the nicer neighborhoods in the area. Nicer in terms of house value. Not necessarily the neighbors themselves. Also, our neighborhood was billed as a neighborhood of the future when first developed. In it, no 2 houses are back to back. Everyone has common ground or fields behind their houses.

So this is what has happened just around my house. A couple weeks ago a families 2 dachsund dogs were taken from their yard. They were found in the field behind us shot. Last week our next door neighbor let the dog out at 6 am on Saturday. She saw some people smoking in the woods behind her house. SHe was calling the dog and the people would call the dog as well. The dog eventually came in. Then one of the people came up to her sliding glass door and tried to break in. She already called the police reporting the incident when this happened. She was holding the door and the guy was trying to open it. The stick held, luckily. Turns out it was on of the neighbor teens and some of his friends. They were drunk and high. They went to jail.
just tonight Im watching TV. I hear some gunshots. And they are close. I keep hearing them. About 15 shots. in a half hour. Im about to call the police. But they are already here. Turns out my neighbor is shooting at a pumpkin with a .22. In his backyard. At 9:30 at night. He was charged with discharging a fireamr within city limits.

Not what I expected from this neighborhood. Pure craziness.

No one knows who shot the dogs.

Here is a video of a home invasion in my town from a couple days ago. A suspected drug and/or money dispute.

Too bad the property owner didn't put some bullets in them. If you aren't armed, might be a good time tarcone.

I don't know about death penalty but there's the whole people assaulting other people too and all that should result in some jail time...

So tarcone hears gunshots and his immediate reaction is to post about it on the internets rather than call police.

Might have something to do with the fact that they were already there, no?

Yeah, I posted after the police had come and gone.

It seems we have some rogue 17-20 year olds running loose in the town.

We have about 4 boys that need to go to jail or move out of our neighborhood.
