Help with a Font

Anyone used Font Creator for Windows? I'm trying to take a font that has a transparent area that I would like to make white. I have no earthly idea what I'm doing with this program, though. Been looking around for a way to do this for a good bit now and I'm still clueless. Seems like it should be easy. Anyone got any idea? It is a ttf file, if that matters.

Better yet, someone just give me an easy way to do this since I can't save with the trial version of Font Creator anyway.

Sigh. This is something really simple I want to do and I just can't figure out how to do it.

I spent some time the other day looking for a windows ready font with a slashed zero in it. I finally gave up.
