Happy Monday! It looks like that snow is headed for Chicago! My favorite part of the news was when they said that the white-outs will be "life threatening."

Yeah, I was just going to post that if I don't export for awhile it's because we lost power here in Indianapolis...They are saying 2 inches of ice or more for us so it doesn't look pleasant....Ken, I hope that snow moves south a little more but I think I"ll lose power no matter what.....

But let everyone know that if I don't export it's because I lost power.

This is very dramatic. I don't appreciate when they threaten our survival!

I've been preparing since late Saturday night for life without power...Moved my grill to the front porch so if we do lose power I can cook on that and such....I understand they want to warn people but there are still the goofs that say "Eh, I'll believe it when I see it (my father in law)" And then when they can't go anywhere and are stuck without anything it's their own fault

Stay safe Teach and hope that you get a few snow days this week

I honestly can't handle any more snow. We average 16 inches for January in normal years. This month we've gotten 64 inches alone. Another 20 coming Tuesday - Thursday here. They are saying with that 14-20 inches, we also get sleet, ice and frozen rain. I'm almost to the point where I'm just hoping for a crazy amount of snow so we can just get buried in until Summer.

Way to be prepared! That's really smart. I work in the crazy district that doesn't believe in snow days under any circumstance. It is really ridiculous. I'm just praying the travel isn't as bad as they say because I WILL have work to go to.

You stay safe too!!!

Like I said, it is DEFINITELY our turn. I'm not even complaining because it has seriously been fine here. The pictures I've seen from your neck of the words are unbelievable.

Make sure you stock up on food before you and your family is buried! Don't starve in there!

I went to get gas yesterday because I legitimately needed it and I had to wait 10 minutes for an open pump. People are stockpiling at the grocery stores like it is the end of the world. I almost prefer the people who are trying to move out of their house!

OMG you mean someone left 8 loaves of bread........

I went out last friday and got some bread, milk cereal and lunchmeat just in case.

My daughter said someone took a picture of a person that had filled up a shopping cart with milk......Im sorry but unless you have an orphanage most of that milk is going to spoil......Some people just get stupid crazy at these times. Its one thing to get a few more items to make sure you are okay but at least up here the snow and stuff will be manageable in a few days.....people act like we got a nuclear attack inbound haha.

Cows don't drink milk. But if you've got kids producing milk I think there might be something wrong with the darn kids.

My family used to go through that too, actually. My mom used to look like she was shopping for an orphanage if you looked at the quantity of milk and boxes of cereal in her cart.

Be safe from the weather all.
I like milk but seriously, if I had one thing to buy before being buried for a couple of days, it would definitely have a higher alcohol content than lactose.
Order would be something like Kokanee Gold--Water--Crown Royal--Repeat...

Good luck...

LOL, I like how you think.
And actually, I'm pretty well stocked up on wine, but I don't have a single piece of bread at home right now. WIN!

Alan,

We have a huge difference here in between what I see in my file and what Dan (HydeCubs) sees in his file. How could this happen?

Dan's shot is the one with the Windows platform and mine is just the normal looking one...How is this plausible that 2 people can download the same file and see 2 different draft results?

Not sure if you remember, but back when we first went to ootp-X I think it was, that we found you can see completely different draft results yourself if you go to draft list then back to draft order screen, it will change repeatedly even in your own copy of the game.

The basic rule of thumb we ended up with for the league was: Don't just assume because you see yourself as the 7th pick means you won't be the 8th pick on the draft. The game doesn't decide it for sure until draft time it seems.

We've had a huge dump in January too (or so I thought)...but it was only about 70cm...so less then half of what you got.
It was -33 on my drive to work yesturday...but I would take cold over snow anyday of the week!

Something is seriously wrong with me. I forget my draft list at least every other week. (and it's not because I'm not exporting!)

I know this doesn't even compare to Alan's pictures, but I have a feeling that bad things will happen if we try to open the door!

We are horrible.

We have a bunch of guys that we need to resign but aren't going too...they are well into their 30's. It was a fun run for a while...time to start anew.
