Sorry, had to cut that box score up some. 17 inning games evidently are too long for the forum to like them

After two straight extra innings games, will Apex's 13 man pitching staff give them an edge against the super-tired 11-man staff for Tokyo?

For only the second time in the last six seasons, Toronto will not be the RL representative in the Classic!

The 2118 FOOL Classic is set!

The Tokyo Cyclones face off vs the Hartford Harpooners!

Tokyo returns for their second straight season to the Classic and are in search of their second title this decade. Their previous title came three seasons ago, which ironically enough was the last time Toronto did not represent the Republic League in the Classic.

Hartford returns to the Classic after six years, which was also their last title. A win here, will tie Hartford with Napa Valley for the most franchise titles in FOOL history (16).

Yeah, I am not sure if that gamble worked out for you. Not only did you have all of the extra inning games, but the CLCS went a full 7 games, meaning no rest for your staff before the Classic. (just the standard 1 day off between series).

This isn't your last chance thats for sure. You have one heck of a squad. When I seen us matched up I looked at your team and thought I was a dead man walking. Those SP are a very nice rotation to run out there.

Johnny, I noticed the number 46 in your signature. Is that a "retired number" on your team? Just curious as I find that type of thing fun and interesting. (I used to retire numbers for my players too long long ago when I coached). I'd even love an announcement or writeup for the player when various teams do that. I always enjoy that type of owner contribution to the league!

I did that for Hector Guardado, when he entered the hall of fame in the offseason. I didn't even think about writing an article, but that's a great idea. I'll do write something for opening day next season

Not to plagerize...but that is a great idea. I have a favorite or two from past seasons that I wish to honor. I love the idea of jersey retirement on your sig...I am so going to rip you off!

Is it possible to change jersey numbers on people without the game freaking out? Is there a setting for "Retire this number" so that it never uses it again per team? If not, get Markus on it immediately.

Grats Hartford. Tough opening round matchup. I went with some Rookies in the playoffs, but I knew I didn't quite have the pitching I normally have so I needed some extra pen help.

There didn't use to be a retire number function in game. I'll have to doublecheck for ootp11, but pretty sure its not in ootpx. I just don't remember if managers can change the numbers of players on their team or if the commish has to do it. I think though that the managers used to be able to change numbers for their own team if I recall correctly.
