Apology

To all members of FOFC,

I'm sorry I acted like a troll with my repetitive angst against the NE Patriots in the NFL Week 2 thread.

There was no excuse for my behavior, making idiotic posts without realizing the bad outcomes they would have.

In the future, I'll keep my angst about things(football) to myself, without hurting others feelings on this message board.

Post three pictures of hot chicks in the images thread and all will be forgiven.

Good. Because my feelings were truly hurt.

See - like I said tucker - nobody's actually like...upset about it.

You can keep being a troll if you want - the only thing that will suffer is people's opinion of you as a rational poster who puts thought into their posts. But if that doesn't matter to you (and there's a legit argument that it shouldn't), then who cares.

Think we're all big boys and girls here...nobody's upset with you man.

(note: the beginning of this post could be read like an insult, but i swear i don't mean it that way)

Dolphin irrational angst should be directed at the J-E-T-S. That is all.

I'm disappointed in myself for letting this angst out, against others who I don't even know. To the point of being viewed as a "poster to avoid".

Some who recognize my username know I only post in certain threads.

I know my posts look like "hit and run", but I don't intend this.

I've been on this board a long time, and I should know better.

"I'm sorry" is the only thing I can say, to those whose feelings I've hurt.

I offer this:

I'm shocked by the racist sentiments of the handshake picture. Is there no room for people of color in apology tour?

A== There is never enough Pats hate in the world.
B== even if there were "enough" hate it would still be 300% less in volume than the Pats homerism that exists.

C== "Brogasm" is not nearly as immasculating a term as this thread deserves.

Seems like people spend an awful lot of energy hating a non-rival that hasn't won a Super Bowl in six years.

Edit: I guess I mean to say that if you're a fan of an AFC East team or maybe the Colts or something, I get it. If you're a fan of another team that really hasn't been a recent rival of the Patriots, not sure I see the point. This is one of those rare cases where I am not the authority on the subject, though, so I am open to disagreement for a change.

Bout as much time as their fans do overhyping the same.

Funny, it reminds me of their own arguments about a team from Indianapolis back in the day...

Must not talk to pats at all, like zero, they certainly do not hype their 3 bowls anymore. Especially since the Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox have all won one since. Pats fans are more likely to point out postseason woes than bowl wins.

You know I love you man, but you're so full of shit on this subject it's not even funny.

We all get it - you had a bad experience with MA back in the day, so now you're a kneejerk MA-hater.

Get over it hmm? Life's too short.

Right back atcha, but thats got little to do with it anymore. back in the day, sure. Honestly now I'm just sick to death of hearing all you fanboys squeal in girlish delight every time a Patriot wipes his arse

Oh its not the bowls really, I agree they've let that pass. its just the general "we're the best" chanting that seems to come and go.

Cheer up mate, every sport has its teams that get more than their fair shared of random hate. Take it as a compliment.

hell, you could be a Yankee fan, then you'd know true hatred.

Just be happy that Norv Turner isn't the head coach of the Patriots.
