Hah, I'm not talented enough to play one of those instruments. You don't need to have a full band to have an audience of cows, I can just stand there and whistle and I'll have a crowd.

Do they like music? Or are they just expecting that if there is a human around doing something they are likely to be fed?

The noise probably gets their curiosity and when they walk over they are probably wondering if they instruments are edible.

If I just stand there, the more adventurous ones will start trying to eat my shirt.
