Levon Helm, we hardly knew ye.
Levon Helm's website is reporting that the 71 year old singer and drummer for The Band has passed away after a long battle with cancer.

The greatest lead singing drummer (yeah Phil, Ringo, Don Henley, and Dave Grohl he's the best). Plus he's the inspiration to my favorite Elton John song.
