SAN DIEGO: Michael James has taken the podium and states there will be change. First, Mr. James states that he has been VERY impressed by the work of AJ Preller and the farm system he has built. The Padres have been named #1 farm system by MLB Pipeline. Due to Preller’s work, he will be retained and given an extension in hopes to lead the Padres to the promise land. Mr. James also states that Andy Green will be retained and not let go. Mr. James feels Andy Green has a great bond with the players and and has them trending in the right direction. Mr. James then addresses the elephant in the room. “I stated there would be a return to a past era in San Diego. I know fans have been clamoring for the Brown and Yellow to return, however this is not the era I am referring to. 20 years ago (1998) we played in the World Series vs the New York Yankees and have not since returned. In this time period, our organization had one of the best uniforms in sports with a Blue and Orange color Scheme that included beautiful white pinstripe home uniforms. This era will be returning to Petco Park this year!! Now fans, I’m sorry to disappoint you, but to make up for it somewhat, we will also be wearing Brown and Yellow for every Thursday game as part of our Throwback Thursday special for you all. The camouflage uniforms that celebrate our great military city will still be worn during Sunday home games”.

House Rules
Difficulty:
Pitching - Dynamic (will use until I find a good set that seem to play fair)
Hitting - Dynamic (will use until I find a good set that seem to play fair)
Will play 1 game a series vs Non-Divisional Opponents.
Will play 2 vs Divisional Opponents
There is no criteria to which game I will play in the series. I will just pick which ever one seems most appealing to me.
Quick counts vs Non-Divisional opponents, Full game vs divisional opponents.
Will pitch and hit while tied. When I lead, I will only pitch and sim AB's. When I trail, I will only hit and sim the pitching.
Game 2 Recap: Brewers 5 Padres 2
New acquisition Christian Yelich goes 2-5 with 2 RBI to lead the way for the Brewers in their first win of the season.
Game 3 Recap: Brewers 5 Padres 2
Different game, same result. The Brew Crew take the series 2-1 as they defeat the Padres by the score of 5-2 for the second straight day. Luis Perdomo allowed 5ER in 6.1 innings of work. The Padres drop to 1-2.

MISSION SAN ANTONIO
If you want to watch the future of the Padres at work, look no further than their AA farm team The San Antonio Missions. Their pitching rotation includes: Cal Quantrill, Mackenzie Gore, Anderson Espinoza, Michel Baez, and Logan Allen. On top of that absurd amount of talent, their lineup bosts Fernando Tatis Jr, Luis Urias, Josh Naylor, Jorge Ona, Hudson Potts, and Luis Campusano. This is definitely the team to watch if you’re a baseball fan, let alone a Padre fan. This will be a very fun and exciting team in the world of prospects. The Padres have stacked almost their entire top prospect list on this one team. What a time to live in San Antonio, until they get called up that is.
