I agree with this. Although, I think Henderson will outperform Singler this season.Comment

HAHA....I don't know how to do smiley's but that's laughable. I know you may call my bias, but you're either doing this as a homer pick or to garner attention.
We lose only Quentin Thomas, return the NPOY, and bring in a top five recruiting class with three Mickey D's. Please. I hate Dook and all, but that's cause of mutual respect....
But yeah. In all fairness, I'd love to hear your reasoning.Comment

Re: 2008-2009 ACC Thread
It could go either way, but we have arguably the deepest/most talented backcourt in the country. Paulus, G, Scheyer, Nolan, and E-Will are all above average and will get solid minutes this year. The frontcourt is thin but there's still Singler who is a superstud. McClure, Z, Olek, Miles, and Lance should all see time, and I know a lot of people aren't counting on him for another year or two, but I think Olek will be a very good player starting this season.
The two games against the Holes will be huge and will determine the regular season winner, IMO.Comment

Duke over UNC? please..
NC State sure to round out the bottom of the ACC in basketball to go with our last place football finish.
Most looking forward to watching Wake over the next few years, very exciting stuff going on in Winston-Salem.Comment

I'll be rooting for Wake Forest in the ACC due to my close proximity to the school. Local teams FTW!!!Comment

Re: 2008-2009 ACC Thread
Any game, any season can go either way. But in this case, you can have the deepest backcourt in the country (although I think UCLA disagree with you). I'd rather go with the deepest team in the country, and arguably, the best starting five in Lawson, Ellington, Green/Ginyard, Thompson, and PSYCHO T.It could go either way, but we have arguably the deepest/most talented backcourt in the country. Paulus, G, Scheyer, Nolan, and E-Will are all above average and will get solid minutes this year. The frontcourt is thin but there's still Singler who is a superstud. So far, with what we have, UNC takes the cake in the country, not just the ACC.
Yes, those two games will be very HUGE...it's like Boston/New York rivalry stuff....Comment

Re: 2008-2009 ACC Thread
Encouraging news from "Late Night w/Roy". During the scrimmage, Tyler Zeller had 12 points & 12 boards playing alongside Psycho. If the Heels can get that kind of production from the 4, title is UNC's. Simple as that. No excuse. I would hope Roy doesn't hesitate to play he or Davis, if Thompson continues his lackluster performances.-August 17, 1960Originally posted by VP Richard M.
