5 straight days of college football starts tomorrow night.

This is one of the least exciting opening weekends that I can remember. Only 1 top 25 matchup during that entire stretch (granted it is a big one). Outside of that LSU-FSU game, nearly every school in the top 15 is basically playing either an out of conference cupcake or they are versus an in very not good in conference opponent. The few exceptions below:

Utah - Florida should be interesting. Has Florida improved in year 2 and replacing their QB?
NC - South Carolina has a shot at being interesting with Maye.

Boise State plays Washington, not Oregon State. Oregon State's @ San Jose State. I like UTSA @ Houston also. Clemson @ Duke Monday has potential to be good.

Lots of new faces for Pitt, specifically on the d-line. Would like an easy game before they play Cincy and WVU.

I always look at Week 1 as the precursor to NFL starting back up the following week.

So while there’s not many games I’m interested in, I’m just glad Football is back on TV for the next 6 months. Best time of the Sports Calendar year [emoji1487]
