I watched Reggie last year and kept thinking he'd be a good change of pace back or maybe a slot receiver. I question his quarterback skills. Don't get me wrong, I love him as an athlete and as a person. Last year when his dad passed away, I was the one in the front row of the student section with the "Bonnafon Strong" sign. I talked to him after the game and for a little while and offered support (my father passed away when I was a kid, too) and he was such a good kid. I don't know where I'm going with this but he has a good head on his shoulders and will start somewhere on this offense for three more years.

Oh I'm not worried about scUM, I'm just tired of their fans(pretty much the same as SEC fans at this point, no offense) talking mad crap even though they can't back it up. And yeah, that MSU game will be good.

FYI: Meant UM couldn't back it up, not the SEC. See lower post.

SEC had a bad ending to the season in 2014, but I wouldn't call that "not backing it up" over the last decade. Been playing pretty solid ball. Just sayin'.

I'm not really what you would call a "SEC fan", but owning college football for a decade would probably be considered as "backing it up".

Didn't mean the SEC couldn't back it up. Meant UM couldn't. I just brought up SEC fans because they consistently try to bash the Buckeyes and it gets pretty annoying. Then again my experience comes mostly from Bleacher Report so that may explain it.

Gotcha......makes more sense now. They probably get bashed because they are normally getting throttled by an SEC team

Michigan State against Oregon and against Ohio State should both be very good games.

Bama and Florida owned college football. LSU and Auburn just had their years in between, but the rest of the SEC.... ehhh. But the past is the past.

SEC Titles in 2004, 2010, 2013. That's 3 Titles, 2 Undefeated seasons, 1 National Title, and 2 National title appearances in that 10 year span.

                          I guess I'll take that.

No one can dispute that the SEC has owned college football the last decade. With that said, it was interesting that the first year we had a playoff, a SEC team didn't make it to the championship game.

As for this conference pride stuff, I graduated from Oklahoma and I've said our league is a joke for the last three years now.

It doesn't hurt me to say the Big 12 sucks. TCU beating Ole Miss doesn't suddenly validate OU's mediocrity last year and Bama and Auburn being successful doesn't validate middle of the pack SEC teams.....if that makes sense.

My most anticipated game of the year is week two against Tennessee because it will be a good measuring stick for this Sooner squad. I don't think this year's OU team is very good by OU's standards. 9-3 would be a good season but 8-4 is more likely. I'll be surprised if they pull out that game against the Vols.
