Notre Dame/FSU intrigues me as well, with Everett Golson leaving ND for Florida State

I just hope we can beat OSU or MSU
Did they add this game to the schedule late?

        Seasprite,

What is Vol Nation saying about the OU/Tenn. game?

I would think your fanbase would be pretty optimistic about this game. OU is down but this would be a huge win for your program.

I respect Tennessee's tradition and think they're headed in the right direction. The game in Norman last year was a lot closer than the final score. If Tenn. had any type of o-line it would have been really interesting.

        MLB - St. Louis Cardinals
        NFL - Dallas Cowboys

The fanbase is cautiously optimistic about this game and it will be a game that should set the tone for the rest of the season. If we can get to the game healthy, I think we should win. I think we are a bit better than last year and OU isnt as good as last year. Key will be having a mobile QB in Dobbs rather than the Peyton-esque statue we had with Worley and a terrible line. I think Hurd and AK will play a huge part in us winning this game and if they get off to a great start on the ground, it could be a long night for the OU defense. If they can keep Styker from dropping bombs on the QB all night, we should be in good shape. Our run defense should be much better with alot more depth on the Dline and a bit more talented (unproven Freshmen). Many Vol fans see the talent and depth we now have, but most fans also realize that Jones is really unproven as far as winning big games in Knoxville.....this year will be a put up or shut up year IMO.

I have a lot of repect for OU and your tradition and history as well. I had a couple of friends that went to Norman for the game last year and enjoyed themselves and were treated very well by the OU fans. I hope that no matter the outcome, that OU fans who make the trip to Neyland this year and given the same respect and hospitality.

This must be anticipated since the teams don't play again until like 2019 or 2020.

Silly me once again, I need to stop associating colors with teams like I do, I could have swore they were playing again this year.
Well scratch Notre Dame/FSU, Michigan St./Oregon would be my number two at this point.
Again sorry about my silly mistake

If we keep Auburn's QB from going nuts and get slightly above ****** QB play from Brandon Harris, we might be undefeated going into Tuscaloosa, so yes, my game of the year is LSU-Bama again like the last 6 or 7 years. Before Satan took over there, the LSU-Florida series for several years was the game of the year in college football. If Brandon Harris becomes a man, we are going 11-1, if he doesn't, we are going 8-5 again. I tell you one thing....In the opener against McNeese State, the best QB on the field will be the one leading the Cowboys. It will be good practice for LSU to stop Dak Prescott the next week, because Daniel Sams is a playmaker...

OU vs Tennessee...I will be in Knoxville and it will be the largest crowd the Sooners have ever played in front of...hoping Baker Mayfield pulls out some Sooner Magic.

You'll have to come by our tailgate. Hope your experience (other than the scoreboard) is a great one at Neyland
