We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Thank you Brian Kelly's Notre Dame for coming up small in the really big games once again.
Oh well, there goes any hopes for a national championship. A tip of the cap to the Hurricanes. It's always nice to see a dormant program rise up the way they have this year.
Yep.. heโs good enough to keep ND relevant most years but not good enough to put them over the top. And Iโve really changed my tune on him this season too as it seemed like he finally woke up over the offseason, but very disappointing to come up small once again in a big road game. Not all on him though Wimbush was ****ing dreadful and not the same guy weโve seen the last few weeks.
GG Miami fans. That defense is better than I thought. Iโm not really understanding how you guys have struggled against inferior opponents all year lol.

Took the offense awhile to find their identity. Also, Richt was very vanilla nearly all year until these past two games. The offense looks completely different. It didn't help we lost our best two offensive weapons. Walton is out for the year and Richards has had injury issues all season. Took awhile for the young guys like DeeJay Dallas and Jeff Thomas to get up to speed as true freshmen. Travis Homer has also needed time to get better. His vision and patience at this point is 100x better than it was a month ago. And finally, the OL is healthy. Navaugn Donaldson is a true freshman, but already our best run blocking OL and turning into our best overall OL player. When he was out the run game was absolutely terrible.
I think the hurricanes had some to do with it also. The team is just now hitting their 7th straight week of playing and I think they are starting to hit their stride a bit later because of the delays. Most of it, though, I think is just with how young and inexperienced this team is combined with the vanilla offense.

Impressive collapse Colorado State. And how horribly long of a game to end after 12:50. Hawaii started 45 minutes later and had a 30+ minute lightning delay, and still finished only 5 minutes later.
This has been a very entertaining day of football; #1 & #3 was blown out and #2 barely escaped with a win. I don't even know what the top four teams will be now, aside from Alabama at #1 and Clemson still being there. I also think Miami should jump up into the top four.
Didn't get to see the game, but I can't say I'm too surprised about the Georgia collapse. It was bound to happen eventually. This team is good, but I never thought they were the best team in the country.
Fromm has looked really good for a true freshmen, but true freshmen QBs are still true freshmen QBs. It was always going to be a risk playing on the road against a good team.
Everything I've heard, and the stat line shows it, the Georgia O-line was finally exposed. They've played beyond their ability all year. Part of that I think has been some great coaching, but part of it has definitely been the lack of competition. A few of the better d-lines we played earlier in the year held up pretty strong in the first half, they just would get worn down by lack of depth. That doesn't appear to have happened to Auburn.
Also, UGA lacks great playmakers at WR. There are some guys who are really good with the ball in their hands, but dropped passes have been a problem all year. Sounds like that was again a problem on Saturday.
Sucks to lose so badly to a rival in what was shaping up as a special season. I also don't like our chances in the SECCG unless it's a rematch with Auburn (and even then it's not a great shot). Still though. 9-1 in the 2nd year of a new system with a true-freshmen QB is not the worst thing. As weird as it is to say with guys like Chubb and Michel gone after this year, I really think next season is the year for Georgia to really step into prominence.
