    Re: Week 11 Discussion

Big Mike is out again for Michigan...I suppose a 370 pound guy needs a bit more time to heal a "lower body injury." True freshman Cesar Ruiz stepping in nicely at RG. Also, Michigan sustains drives so much better with Peters in there instead of O'Korn. With this rushing attack and against inferior teams, all you really need is to execute a 7-yard PA pass calmly from time to time and not fumble handoffs.

The Michigan State defense that held Notre Dame to 182 yards on 40 carries.... is that the same defense that just allowed 335 yards on 42 carries???

Tough way to lose the game for Iowa State.

Not sure that's a fair comparison. ND was up big against MSU and went to their prevent offense. Notre Dame could've rushed for 250 if they had to in that game.

But, yeah, OSU ate Sparty's lunch and then some today.

LOL. Whoever is designing these plays for Maryland has really underestimated how quickly Michigan gets to the QB.

Kiffin's middle school QB prodigy with his 17th touchdown reception of the season. 14-6 WVU.

Auburn needs to punch some of these opportunities into the end zone.

I don't see Mike Riley surviving the rest of the year with how the Huskers got smashed 54-21 by a Minnesota team that got crushed by Michigan last week.

Also, in the most storied rivalry game of the day, UCF tops UConn to stay undefeated.

Metellus is having himself a ballgame today for a change. Nice blocked punt after Maryland's long 3rd down conversion try overruled on replay review.

Michigan goes up 28-0 two plays later.

EDIT: I get it that the Terps really have nothing to lose here with their 18th string QB playing and all, but why they continue to go for it on 4th down deep in their own territory is plain bad coaching. Shame on you, D.J. Durkin. Harbaugh taught you better than that.

I get it that you were trying to dig up dirt on ND to make yourself feel better about your team's chances tonight, but truth is some teams can get conservative when they are sitting on a big lead. I don't see anything novel about that.
