for larger boxes, they usually do that ... the PS4 is probably close to being on the edge of size of needing a box ... if I was Amazon, I would require signatures and just send the box as is

The PS4 is smaller then the PS3 slim if they put that thing in a box when they shipped it to me i don't see why they won't do it for the ps4
