Picked up Batman for the NES today along with Batman Returns for the SNES. I have to say that Batman Returns is probably the best sidescroll beat em up that I have ever played.

The music in the NES Batman game was so ahead of its time. Love that game. Still own it.

Re: Retro Console/Game Collecting Thread

There's a 3-day retro gaming expo going on here in a couple of weeks. Never been to one, and I'm excited to hopefully meet a few guys I watch on YouTube (Gaming Historian, Metal Jesus Rocks).

I need to make a list of games to search for before going so I don't feel completely overwhelmed. I've been hitting the PS2 collecting pretty hard, as well as the GBA, so I'll probably stick to those 2 systems, while of course not turning away any PS3/360/DS deals that may appear.

Agree 1000% on Batman Returns. That game was so good and so much fun.

Re: Retro Console/Game Collecting Thread

Picked up an Xbox 360 over the weekend along with Marvel Ultimate Alliance: Gold Edition. One of my fav games of all time. Venom on that game is a beast. My only question is how to expand the memory on the 360 since it only came with 4GB. It doesn't appear to have an outside connection for a hard drive like the white one's had. If anyone could help me on this, I'd appreciate it.

So now my console collection is: NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS2, Xbox 360.

Get a used 250gb hard drive. The machine should have a slot to place the drive right in. Fits like a glove no tech experience needed.

That's exactly what I did a few years back. It's very easy to swap out the HDD's.
