There is a good CD Game Exchange chain in Cincinnati too. I can’t remember the exact name though.

The Nostalgic store is amazing. They just acquired more inventory to the tune 2,500 more games they are putting out next weekend hence why we are going.

The game store in the mall closed down. The story is that the Nostalgic store bought them out. I don’t know for sure obviously but that is the story.

I have found some amazing deals in Florence. Some gems as well. Everything reasonably priced (some higher a few lower) but I don’t mind because it’s so clean.

The only frustration I’ve had is when I found super Mario Strikers for the GC but the box art had water damage. They were willing to take 25% off but as a collector the condition of the box art means just as much as the game itself.

If you’re in the area that Saturday let me know and I’ll treat ya to Skyline chili

Found a Game Boy Player WITH the Start-Up Disc for the GameCube. First time I've ever seen the disc, so I had to buy it (really good price, too).

Now I need to pick up a GameCube, lol.

Found a 60 GB backwards compatible PS3 at local retro video game shop for $180 which is fair considering how rare they are. My only hang up is that it only carries a 7 day warranty which, isn't bad, but I prefer 30 days on consoles.

Guy is holding it for me until I get off work. Not sure what to do.

Does it look like it's in good condition? I know you take good care of your consoles, so if it's not in rough shape, you're probably OK. Plus, there's enough guys out there now that can fix most issues with consoles and won't set you back a large sum of money.

It’s scratch free and looks really good. Vents are clean from what I saw.

Going to go give it and thorough inspection then most likely get it.

They told me I can try it out before I buy

Taking it for a test run before you buy should help give you some peace of mind. Hope it all works out!

LOL, right? Nah, you could still sell it on eBay and someone would buy it to try and repair it. But, let's hope you don't have to worry about that.

                      I still own my original 60gb ps3

That backwards compatibility was huge, I was finally able to retire my ps1 and ps2.

Would love to pickup a backwards compatible PS3 but I heard there was a lot of hardware issues with that model?

The PS3 that I tested suffered the YLOD during my first 10 minutes of testing

                          Yeah I didn’t buy it

                            That sucks man.

You tried Ebay? I think they have some at the same price.

                              No.

I won't buy used consoles from Ebay. No way to look them over and no warranty.

I still have my backwards compatible PS3, I just started a season of MVP 2005. I was going to pull out my ps2 to play because I think the ps2 games play better on the ps2 but so far so good.
