I hated VR. I've been completely against it from the start. That being said, I got to play with PSVR for about 30 mins today. I'm hooked, I was blown away. The video quality was outstanding and it made you feel like you were really there. I never expected it to be that good. 3D gives me headaches but no issues here. I played Battlezone and some shark game. Both were amazing. I couldn't believe the how immersive it was. Battlezone made me feel like I'm in the tank. Had to look all around the tank and just had such a cool feel.

Be like me and I urge you to try it out for yourself.

Like I was telling you I tried the Battlezone but I really wish there weren't so many people and I had more time. Really wanna try that in cage with Sharks around you one.

Ima have to go back for more like a dope fiend.

So immersive, it's gonna convert many and sell well I bet.

I struck out fellows. They're subcontracting with a 3rd party who decided to do a no show. There were only six of us there. They were receiving phone calls regarding the event however. The Gamestop Manager was on the phone with Sony and gave us the option of returning tomorrow, or having an unpublished event for us from Sony Weds afternoon. We all took that offer since tomorrows event is still relying on this 3rd party.


Oh, well. Time to go and play my Brooklyn Nets 2K season

In the short term, Artemis Ship Simulator for PC provides a bridge simulator fix for anyone interested, I've played this at a LAN, it can be hilarious.

I played it today and I wasnt crazy about it. Its definetly on par with Oculus and Samsung's VR but I wasnt blown away. Here are my issues with it.

- From what I read, the fact that it was connected to PS4 was supposed to improve the graphical quality greatly when comapred to VR systems like Samasung that is connected to a phone. I didnt see a huge difference in quality thousgh. It was better but not significantly.

- Too many wires. The only thing that is wireless is the controller. You need an additional HDMI cord and the headset and headphones are all wired.

- This had nothing to do with the demo but Sony has a poor history with supporting accessories like this and at 400 bucks, I dont want to be stuck with it and after a year or two they decide to stop supporting it.

With that said, I'm a gamer so I probably will buy it. Especially if there is a bundle with the NEO.

What screwed me was the first pre-orders were only bundles that included the camera etc.. and I already had the camera and move controllers. So I passed.
A bit later a VR only pre-order came out and I was in middle of "life" to get in to pre-order in time.
