Pitching Nolan Ryan
Hitting Ted Williams and Ralph Kiner they hit 3rd and 5th with my dd player in between. The middle of my lineup is too deadly. somehow kiner hasn't hit any home runs for me in ~15 games but he is a singles machine hitting .300.

Re: Favorite Legend ?

Ernie Banks. Without a doubt.

The rest of the Shortstops suck besides him and Tulo, or possibly your created player if you choose to use him there.

Ernie hits a lot of bombs. As long as you make decent contact with the square button, it will leave the yard.

No other legend plays at such a high level and a premium position.

Interesting I may get him because I hate tulo and I can get banks pretty cheap

Right on. The ball just explodes off his bat, I've had plenty of success with a contact swing. I'd rather him hit more balls into the gaps and keep that average over .400 but no doubt he'd wreck using the square power swing.

Speaking of these swings, as i am a new player, do you guys ever use X to hit? I find when i use it i either pop out or fly out. I rarely use the O button but have been using the square power button with success. Any hitting tips appreciated. Thanks

It might take you a few games to get used to his batting stance. He stands very upright, and hunched over. It doesnt feel like a very explosive stance. But it is what he used in real life and I have seen great results from him with it, so it works. haha

He is also a very solid fielder. Good arm, good reactions.
