D. Crime was the first legend I unlocked (because I got Longoria in my returning user bonus pack), and he was in my lineup for the first two or three weeks the game was out. But I never got anything but warning track power out of him. I only swing with the X button, so maybe that was the problem. But using that same approach at the plate, I've hit plenty of HR with his replacements (Edger Martinez, Will Clark, Adrian Gonzalez). I can't see anyone replacing Adrian Gonzalez as my starting 1B, right now. His defense and offense are both excellent. Maybe if I had Rizzo, I'd use him instead. But that's about it.

Crime Dog got off to a very slow start for me. Like you I only use the "X" button (except for 0-2 and 1-2 counts where I use contact to fight pitches off) to hit. Last night he hit two bombs for me and hopefully that was his break out. Bagwell is a beast vs lefties. Will Clark is also a great 1B...he is not even in my lineup.

If a guy goes cold....I will take them out and bring in a different card.....that is the cool thing about DD.....it's like having a giant pipeline of studs.

Bichette has been unreal for me. I was using him in the 5 spot till my team got better and he is 8th right now. But I still hit over .365 through 15 games. Carew is a great leadoff for me and steals bases easily. Neikro and Seaver are amazing pitchers.

I was excited to get him because his stats are pretty good but I literally can't even hit a single with him. Literally hit like .070 with him. No clue what the deal was.

McGriff wasn't hitting for me either so I benched him and put George Brett at 1B.

He has been great for me in offline modes. His first 2 games were complete games with 0 earned runs. and the 3rd i went through 7 innings with only 1 earned run. Havent used him online. I throw a lot of knuckleball strikes with him

Knuckleball non stop in the zone. Occasionally high fastball and curve in the ground.

I just took niekro out of my rotation for david price. Price had been 6-2 before I sat him with a 2.05 era. I pitched niekro 4 times over last 2 days and went 1-3. I'm noticing his outings of making ppl look foolish are close to over. I rarely see him anymore and when I trot him out there he is getting smashed. Niekro is now 5-5 with a 4.0 era for me. Worst on my staff.

Seaver 2-1 2.65 era
Scherzer 6-3 2.8 era
Weighnwright 5-4 3.5 era
Harvey 3-2 3.5 era.

I just took niekro out of my rotation for david price. Price had been 6-2 before I sat him with a 2.05 era. I pitched niekro 4 times over last 2 days and went 1-3. I have only used three legends: Tom Seaver, Joe Carter, Robin Yount, and Rod Carew. In order they would probably go Seaver, Yount, Carew, Carter. Carter really isnt any good at all, just got him for the 5%, yount and carew are solid contact hitters but yount produces more for me. And i just got seaver, he has struggled a little, but then again im not a very good pitcher. Just keep the ball low in the zone and he will be fine.

Not for me overall he is 12-3 1.56 era and just played twice over the weekend going 1-0 with a non decision he pitched 8 both games giving up 3 total runs 2 in game 1 and 1 in game 2.

Is that online or off and what level ratings are you playing

Online and I'm rated 1625 I've been using him since I was around level 1450

I'm around 1640 atm. It seems like anyone around 1700 can sit and wait on his stuff and others around 1600 or lower are swing happy so it just feels like a crap shoot for me sometines.

I don't anytime I've been over 1700 he never pitched but I mostly run in to busters at that level so I kinda tank myself to get lower leveled because bunts all game is boring

Yea he's a beast 18 Ks in 8 ip yesterday for me

Seaver has been outstanding ..!! Threw my first perfect game with him two weeks ago and accidentally took him out after 7 for a pinch hitter when he had another one going and didn't realize it until I had to pick his pitching replacement . I've been good with Ryan too, but not on the same level as I have with Tom Seaver.
