i always read don't buy packs but players. ive not had any luck getting quality diamonds from packs in 18 and 19. 17 i got at least 3 or 4 but maybe 1 in the last 2 years.

Didnt get anything so far w/ MVP edition in the packs for 20.

At the very start of the game, packs are alright as everyones value is a lot higher than it will be in even a week. Yellich for instance has already lost about 15k value from yesterday. But generally, packs are a great way to lose your stubs, either quickly or slowly depending on luck

I finally struck out on the last 50 pack, getting no diamonds, so probably will only recoup 20k from the 75k it cost

Yeah Ive bought two 50 bundles now and pulled Yelich, Bagwell, Strasburg, Ketel Marte, Story, Matt Chapman, Gallo(x2) and multiple diamond equipments

My luck has evened out, so when my DeGrom sells I'll be down to less than I started with. Got a fair few decent cards I've not sold, but mainly valuable golds.

The starter pack is great for some valuable golds if you don't mind not selling them, I got Gallo, Machado, Ohtani, Grandal and Greinke, who between them are probably worth twice the 15k it costs. Obviously not a money earner though as they are unsellable, but it's good cards cheap

Also, don't forget you can lock in all the extra commons and bronzes for a ton of experience and money in the team collections and create a player brinze collections

3rd straight 50 pack without a diamond has officially killed my stub balance. Going to take a long time to recover! (both in terms of stubs and emotionally)

No, not at all. Pack odds are fixed and can be seen if you press square on the pack iirc

Well my infield is set I pulled a diamond Baez, Chapman, & lindor in my first 20 packs from the DLC & have a gold votto and gold catcher Yasmani Grandal
