Opening up the five packs I won from the free Showdown, I get a diamond each in the first two packs... Gerrit Cole and Christian Yelich. (Ironically I pulled Yeli from a random pack last year as well.) My first diamonds of the year, but I'll wait until I get a lesser diamond so I can lock in my trophy. Nice to get a big boost for both hitting and pitching early in the year.When the Giants come to town, it's Bye Bye Baby...Comment

Yeah I'm a little surprised by the market. I know there's no season so no upgrades and stuff and the world is crazy but the market is almost identical to last year and even lower. I thought early in the year everything would hold value.
Maybe it's like this all the time idk. I'm still just a second year player. But surprising.
Especially Bench being so cheap. Gagne is the only headliner I wanted to pull and didn't hit any of them. Rollins I got out of a bundle oddly enough. But I might not pull the HL packs anymore unless there's someone in there I really want.

I guess with the HW Posey being free and an early choice pack it makes Bench less desirable. Those offensive numbers are really lacking. I still have Grandal there who is more than serviceable right now.

They really seem to love robbing catcher legends on offensive ratings. I wonder if they do it deliberately to keep the overalls down since they always have great defense? If there is a headliner I want, I will get one pack, if I dont get it I just buy it off the market because it's always cheaper than buying 4 more packs and hoping to get it. LOL

Holy crap! Just pulled 4 Diamonds (Kershaw, Lindor, 2 Jose Ramirez) and a 30k diamond compression sleeve from a 50 pack.
Only ever pulled 2 once before in any year of the show. Wish 3 of them weren’t the 12k variety of Diamond but I’m not complaining haha
