Yeah, they could, but this is how they've been doing these. It would be nice since then you wouldn't have to do all the moments to unlock it offline, but it's a design decision I suppose at this point.

Probably because by definition, something that is 5 games long isnt a ****ing "moment". It drives me nuts. The amount of dashboarding you have to do because even when you get perfect perfect with Hernandez, he only hits the ball 90mph makes this a massive pain in the ***.

Unlocking him is not the issue. The mission I mentioned is for 10 3rd inning program points. As an offline player who does not put 20 hours plus a week into the game I need as many ways to earn programs points as possible.

This is just one more example how they have made the game less fun this year. Multi game moments that can be blown because of BS (in one of my moments Hernandez was walked twice and hit by pitch once so it was kind of hard to get multiple hits). The fact that you have to exit back to the menu and reload into each new game and the fact that you can't even restart the first game without going back to the menu. 6 out of the 7 moments for Hernandez are multi game moments.
They are all all or nothing because they are tied to programs. These same moments last year would have earned us anywhere from 33 to 51 points (3 points for a single game and 5-8 points for a multi-game moment) instead of the 20 we get this year.

I unlocked him in 45 mins, all offline. Pretty simple for an 88 overall player honestly.
But yes, should be more ways to unlock players I agree with you.

See but thats the thing, 45 for you could be 4 hours for someone else because so much of this crap is completely based on RNG, especially when its guys with almost no power. Theres things I finish in 20 minutes here where other people are working on them for days and in most cases, it has very little to do with skill. Its just total nonsense.

Your obviously better than I am then because I spent at least that long (probably longer) and I think I have 3 of the multi game moments still to do.
It's gotten to the point with me that if I don't do amazing in the first game I just restart the multi-game Moment. Fixes most of the frustrating that goes with it.
The least they could do is load up the entire 3+ games so I don't have to back out to the menu after each one.

The multiple game moments aren't usually difficult, they're just tedious and annoying. I get pretty excited when I beat a multi gamer in the first game though.

This second one shows why Moments are the worst thing ever. Hit a no doubt double, but the CPU runner decides that he didn't want to run to third base. Thankfully, I already had the extra base hit for that mission, otherwise I would have been furious:

I had the bases loaded and hit a ball over the right fielders head that one hopped off the wall. Kolten Wong tagged up at second and then only advanced one base, meaning the runner behind him stopped at 2nd and I was robbed of an extra base hit.
