I thought maybe if I did a thread on this and everyone pitched in with their team info it might save some work for us.....

Anyway I'll do Toronto.

Not much missing on the Habs, in terms of key prospects...Right winger Michael McCarron (1st round '13) is really the only one I would add to the game. Will play the season with the London Knights in the OHL, so I guess EA's gonna add him pretty soon.

C - Louis Leblanc - I would suggest keeping him a 4 stars for now, but red, or 3 and half gold stars.

C - Gabriel Dumont - Bump up to three green stars. Will never be a top-line talent, but a sure bottom-six forward in my opinion.

C - Michael Bournival - Bump up to three and half stars.

LW - Jacob De La Rose - Bump up to three and half, red stars.
LW - Charles Hudon - Bump up to three stars.
LW - Brady Vail - Bump down to two and half stars.

RW - Christian Thomas - Bump down to three stars.
RW - Sebastian Collberg - Bump up to four, red stars. Boom or bust candidate.
RW - Sven Andrighetto - Bump up to three stars.

This is not a complete list for the Caps, since it's off the top of my head, and there are a ton since the Caps have been drafting a lot from NCAA and US-Juniors... but here goes:

Capitals:

C Evgeny Kuznetsov (4.5*, yellow... arguably 5 stars since some have called him the best prospect not in the NHL)
LW Andre Burakovsky (4* yellow, Malmo, lower-league Swedish team)
LW Riley Barber (3.5* yellow, U of Miami (Ohio) made some big strides since being drafted in the 6th of 2012)
C Caleb Herbert (3* yellow, U of Minnesota-Duluth)
C Thomas Di Pauli (3* yellow, Notre Dame)
LW Zach Sanford (4* red, Boston College)
C Brian Pinho (2.5* red, some minor junior league in NY)

That's about it for prospects missing. There are a few more, but they are like 2 stars or less and not worth wasting a limited player creation on... or they are AHL pros like D's Patrick Wey and Nate Schmidt, and will be added once EA releases the Roster update with the AHL additions... usually sometime in late November.

Some of the current prospects that need upgraded include Tom Wilson (currently a 68OV, bump up to 73OV and make his stars green, as he's expected to either make the team or play in the AHL this season), and D Connor Carrick who should be bumped up to a 3 star yellow and maybe 66OV). Both play for OHL Plymouth.

Yeah, but the CHL update usually isn't until December. I simply can't wait that long for 1st rounders. =)

Is Valeri Nichushkin (#10 in '13 to the Stars) in the game at all? From what I can tell, he's one of the only first rounders not on the roster update.

Canucks goalie Joacim Eriksson is not in the game, he's not on his swedish team from last year, he's not on the flyers who drafted him, he's not on Utica, I'm searched every goalie on every team in the game.

He is on the game if you use the default rosters.

I was just getting ready to make a thread like this for current players on NHL teams (not prospects), but instead I figured I'd just post my question in here - does anyone know where Hal Gill is or is he another on the phantom list of non existent people in the game?
