EA DB Editor - Be A GM Config

I have finished up a config/xml file that will be usable in the EA DB Editor for Be A GM/Dynasty modes. I probably don't consider it a "finished" product, because there are a couple fields still referred to as "f01, f02, f03", etc. If you find something and are able to identify what the field is, please post it and I will update the file.

Special thank you to Undertaker_ba for helping with some of the XML and identifying the fields and Phil Parent who did previous work, some of which I was able to directly copy over.

Please post all errors and edits necessary!

    Enjoy!

EA DB Editor is an editor that will edit the database file of your roster or be a GM mode. It can be found here:

I'll be curious to see if you guys have success editing the dynasty file so the game doesn't freeze.
I've been working on it for days and thought I had it figured out but no.
I'm editing the playerbio and roster table for transactions, but strange things keep popping up and then the game freezes.

I tried editing the schedule as well as moving conferences/divisions, but it did nothing at all. I'm not sure exactly what is wrong with it. Perhaps it is the patcher malfunctioning or perhaps the BaGM is essentially locked?

I haven't tried messing with the schedule, just making the trades that have been completed. I'm able to move the players so they show up on the new teams, but then the lines get messed up....
Like the Rangers had 2 Kevin Klein's on defense, 2 minor teams had 3 and 4 goalies dressed. so the game freezes.
draft picks and making injured players healthy is easy to do tho....

Is it possible to edit your GM skill with this? I am just looking to max out my scouting and stuff.

Yes, I believe so, but I haven't tried it or what to set the values to. I just know I came across a bunch of "Scout Talent" stuff.

Do you think perhaps I improperly labeled the depth chart data? That could maybe screw something like that up? I will give it a look and upload a new file on the original post, hopefully tonight.

Ok, I updated it. The download link is on the op. I did find two errors in there, but I don't think they should have been problematic. Please let me know if it works or not.

So how exactly do I use this? I'am able to edit roster files but not sure how to use this, I saw ur post on the roster tool thread about merging the data files together then separating them later but I have 5 data files (0-4) and i don't no how to merge them then separate with hex editor

I don't understand anything of how to install it and how to use it ? Personally, I think this is something that deserves to be more known and used, and I think a video would make it easy for dumb people like me who don't understand. I am not asking for a video though, just saying that it would be very useful for it, but could someone explain me how to use this ? It sounds very nice and I am the knid of guy who likes to tweak EA's mistakes, so I'd like it.

When I try to open my DB file in the DB Editor I get the message "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

It says if I hit continue the application will ignore and attempt to continue, but nothing happens if I click continue. Anyone have any ideas on this??
I just want a hockey and football game where I can spend more time playing my seasons then I spend changing my sliders.
