Re: EA DB Editor - Be A GM Config

Can anybody explain why each rating in the Be A GM mode has three different types of ratings assigned to it, labeled S /M / C / E?

For instance each player has an "S" speed rating, an "M" speed rating, a "C" speed rating, and an "E" speed rating. Does anybody know what each one means? I see that most M's are 16 can't see any other pattern (maybe M means minimum?)

Is EA DB Editor actually working for Season as well as Be A GM?

Sorry this might be a noob question but does this work on the PS3? Or does it only work for the 360?

Honestly, I have the same question because I've never gotten it to work with a PS3 Season save.

Pezdaddy, are you doing it with 360?

Re: EA DB Editor - Be A GM Config

If anyone is interested I have done some work cleaning up the Be A GM configuration file.
                • improved the layout order of the fields making the DB Editor significantly easier to work with for Be A GM files. I haven't reordered everything but a lot has been reordered.
                • identified additional fields that were previously not named
                • found a few errors with original field names
                • fixed an issue with the config file that prevented the import/export feature of the DB Editor from working correctly

Credit to the thread starter, phatkroger10, for doing a significant amount of legwork on the file.

Bringing back an old topic here, but I am also trying to edit conference/divisions without any success. I changed the appropriate columns in the Teams table but see no modification in the game. Changing a team name worked on my BAGM save so I know the whole process works. Anyone ever had succes with this?

CAn someone update on what the status is for using EA DB editor for NHL Legacy in Season or Franchise mode? What XML do we use and what is the editor capable of editing?

I modified dynasty configure file (post #22) for season files. This is for NHL 14 to Legacy season files. I didn't tested with older files. Xml in post #22 works with NHL 14 to Legacy Be a Gm files.

Re: EA DB Editor - Be A GM Config

Thanks so much for the hard work on this. I have no interest in editing Franchise or anything, but want to make major roster edits.

So, just to be clear, can I edit rosters on the most recent Legacy Edition (16) using the db editor, or do I need to find a copy of 14?

Is it possible to delete games from the schedule? So that one could make a season where you'd only play your own division for instance.
Now go play NHL Two K!

I'd be interested to know this as well I'd love to play shortened seasons.
