Many times it seems like when I move in and land a leg kick or body kick and then try to move out of range my opponent can land a strike to the head. I will try to get my block up or try to dart backwards but they still get their strike off. It seems like it is an automatic free shot sometimes. Any tips for this? Please it drives me nuts!

Generally the kicking range is longer than the punching range. Maybe firing kicks from where you can't land a punch would effectively keep the range, but maybe you'll still be in the range for return kicks

Try playing as Struve you can land body/leg kicks and get your head out of the way of the returning strike
