EA. Can we forgo UFC 4 for another FN

EA. Fight Night fans have been extremely patient. We've endured the experiment of UFC games. I like MMA games, but not having a FN for nearly 10 years is just ridiculous. To me, FN was one of your signature games. The fan base was huge. There are so many new boxers (Not named Floyd) that would make this game amazing. I honestly think 3 UFC games is enough for now. Give us a FN, then go back to making UFC. Let's face it, FN is a better game. People are literally still playing FN on Ps3. Take the hint EA.
Gaming ain't easy, but someone gotta do it.

I'm more of an MMA guy but I've always loved the FN series. Wish there was a way they could alternate each year, one year make a new UFC title, next year Fight Night, etc. That way the wait for a new UFC wouldn't be so painful,by the time you're burnt out on the current game then a new Fight Night would be out.

Yeah, I don’t think MMA is conducive to being replicated in a video game anyway. Regardless of how great the dev team is, it just doesn’t work.

Let’s focus on boxing now, something that will be much more conducive to replication in a video game, and hence more satisfying.

I doubt its happening for cost reasons. At least not until EA decides it no longer wants to do MMA.

On PS4 neither, UFC 2 averaged around 10k players online iirc.

I was just talking to my buddy last night about FNC. The big difference bw FNC and Ufc3 (besides the obvious) was that you could do what you wanted when you wanted to in FNC, where UFc always seems like sometimes you're at the mercy of whether its going to accept your input or not. When FNC came out I remember thinking that FNC2 would be the ultimate boxing game.... then it never happened lol.

Unlikely because MMA is starting to out popularise boxing.

The pay way more money for individual licensing with boxing. Plus I don't watch enough boxing to care for a boxing game tbh.

I'd love another Fight Night game, and you're absolutely right about it being easier to replicate in a video game compared to MMA. I would love to see what developers could achieve with a boxing game these days.

I don't necessarily want UFC games to go away, but I need a new boxing game in my life. I'm glad that I still enjoy FNC as much as I ever did today, but we're long overdue.

I just feel like they should be able to have a FN and UFC. If they alternated every 2 years, it would work. I understand the expense for boxing is higher, but the demand is as high. I guarantee if they made another FN, it would blow the sales through the roof. And to whomever said that MMA is more popular than boxing is died wrong. Boxing will, and will continue to be king. There are more exciting boxers than ever now. So much young talent... God I miss boxing games

For some perspective, 2 had less than 10k during its initial month too.
