EA UFC 3 BUG: I am unbreakable with Side Lunges

This is just one of the several Lunge mechanics issue in EA UFC 3 (up to 10.10.2018)

I said about them to devs before - but it seems they dont have interest in it.

I could do it all the day with closed eyes - w/o being hit. Not needed timing, skill, Haptic feedback, meta knowledge - this is just a SPAM with closed eyes, nothing close with irl.

Of course it can be done also for s short period of time on your incoming strike prediction.

Btw, we have BLOCKING during side short lunge all the time from any side with the last patches if someone wanted to perform rounded strike, so... wellcome to the top!

Pay attention to attacker's whiffed hand animation...

Details of it and more bugs - i can send to devs in pm , if they wanted of course...

It’s easy to side step straight strikes IRL as well.

Just Hold L1 and throw a hook = Rock? LMAO...

If there is anything looking goofy here, it's the whole system in place, that makes spamming 1-2 so efficient and gasses out people for missing strikes... There is no need for nerf, only complete Overhaul of this dumb Predetermined Rules STriking system that we have in this 3rd game.

This has nothing to do with Haptic Feedback, you can spam it regardless and be efficient... About as spammy as the opponent with those overefficient, closed eyes 1-2 spam combos...

Also Blocking + side Short Lunge = Block Destroyed, because when u hold block and spam lunge they can still hit it with the 1-2, they only miss if you risk putting your hands down, which makes a side step spammer easy to punish with a hook...

This has nothing to do with Haptic Feedback, you can spam it regardless and be efficient... About as spammy as the opponent with those overefficient, closed eyes 1-2 spam combos...

This spam is dumby effective against 1-2 spam - effective w closed eyes w/o timing and skill. this is not right.

OK, you can not evade by this side lunge spam if holding Block, but his Hook will be blocked anyway, which is better than to get hit.

So what we have here:
- VS 1-2 = dumbest spam of side lunges w/o block, BUT w/o any timing/skill also.

- VS Hook = When you anticipate a rounded strike - press Holding during lunge spam = to Block it.

All this scenario is not right and not balanced and not realistic from my pov.

If someone spam lunges to the side you just need to use hooks or kicks... tbh its more risky than sway

Spamming 1-2 is a low skill offense. I think the side step is a fair low skill counter

From 1.09 we can block during short side steps from any side.

Blocked Hook gives significant frame advantage to defender > counter opportunity.

In summary we have DISBALANCE here:
- 1-2 are the most useful combo and setup in the game
- it can be easily evaded by Side step bug abuse
- try mixing up non blocking side steps and blocking side steps = the risk % (to meet Hook counter during non blocking step) during it will be LESS than profit.

Yeah, come on SUGATA. You could at least try this against a live opponent of decent skill before crying wolf. An AI that puts out straights at the same tempo demonstrates nothing to this community.

I’d be willing to bet you’re mistaken

Plus your block gets drained considerably hopping into shots.

Also if the other person throws a body hook you’re eating some good damage.
