Analog Hitting looks like a lot of getting used to. I will give it a try with modified sliders but as of know, I'm hating it.

Got the game at 10 am and just finished editing ratings the way I think they should be.

I love the mechanic, even though i repeatedly failed with it in the demo.

still i know it will be more fun and rewarding in the long run compared to buttons for me, so i will stick with it no matter how bad i am doing at first.

Analog Hitting is certainly tougher, I am a bit disappointed they made guess pitch more vague (no exact spot of a correct pitch at lower levels). Its making my pitch discipline horrific as with the lack of time to react I'm swinging at every fastball. I was hoping to have it as '10 to ease myself into analogue.

No new news, I'm assuming it was just them loading the van for tomorrow.
I will keep my eye out for a glimpse of yellow though.

sounds like guess pitch is doing more harm than good (why i never play with it on)

just turn it off, and learn how to spot pitches, the more you see the better you will get, also adjust the batting camera to help, and just take tons of pitches, even if you get struck out, just keep taking them and get used to it.

swinging wildly because you guessed the right pitch or right area is not fun, and its not baseball, in my opinion of course.

and as with any new mechanic, its going to take a while till you get used to the stride and swing with the stick, it being hard right now doesn;t mean its bad, its just different.

I switched back to timing and regardless of guess pitch my focus is so much better. Analog hitting is going to take me a while to nail because there's so much info I'm having to process, when to stride where the pitch is, its break etc etc and with the little time to calculate its a bitch.

I'm with you, having to do extra motions when a 98MPH fastball is flying at you is tough, but after a while like anything it will become second-nature.

its just an extra challenge, and when i get hits in the demo using analogue, i FEEL so much happier than if i got that hit by just pressing X. the immersion of executing the motion on the analogue stick is a big bonus and adds a lot more tension and excitement to my at bats,

like you though i KNOW it will take probably take a long time to get used to.

I'm also a RTTS only player and my current RTTS guy sucks, so I kinda need to go the timing route to gain points and then I can get the analogue going again.
