Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
No worries, thanks for trying to help. I think I can import a PC version over from somewhere in North America as they aren't region locked but i've always been wary of import tax although you guys always seem fine with that.
Fair enough, just what I was thinking!
I'll spend most of my time on The Show anyway so it's not that important and I can always download 2k11 from Steam if I get desperate, is there much difference in 11 and 12?Comment

So cross platform play won't work for us Europeans running the Vita version on our EUR accounts then?
That sucks.Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
You can't have multiple accounts on a Vita, so you'd need to reset your Vita, log in with a US account, download the code and play MLB on that account for it to work I guess?
Once you reset and put your EUR account back on, the download from the US store will 'disappear'Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
I'm not sure mate. You would need to try it, perhaps create a dummy roster save yourself to a usb and then copy over it with the OSFM rosters. I'm sure we can help you when they are released!will OSFM be availble for download and work through usb install?
cause i wont be playing online, and those rosters are all i care about for offline play.
no need to redeem a code that i wont get any use from just in case down the line i might sell the game. (heresy i know, but who knows)
Shhh never say you will sell this game, its bad luck! LOL unless its for MLB 13 of course!

I would wait a couple of weeks and keep your eyes posted on Ebay as I'm sure some will pop up.Comment

Re: Anyone from Europe ordered the game? (Traditional thread)
Yes. Thats what I have done. I play the show on both my PS3 and Vita using my US account.
I only bought my Vita for this game so I'm not too bothered that it is linked to my US account. I dont mind playing games I buy both here and on import on that account.
If you have two Vita memory cards then you can link one to your US account and one to your European account. You would still need to reset your Vita each time you change over your cards though. Takes about 5 minutes.
Its not ideal but its a work around.Comment

I would mostly be playing The Show on it as well. I suppose if/when I did buy other games I'd just stay on my US account all the time.Comment

Yeah thats my thinking too. I can see myself only playing the show on my Vita for the next few months anyway. As you say If/When I buy more games I'll just play them on my US account or buy another memory card but to be honest I'm happy just playing on the US one. Doesnt make any difference to me.
Think it would only really matter if you were into trophies and wanted All your trophies together on one account.Comment

So are you getting cloud saves to work between the PS3 and Vita using your US account? I've set up my PS3 version with my US account but haven't been able to get the Vita online code to work yet. If cloud saves work OK this way, I'm quite happy just to play The Show via my US account.Yes. Thats what I have done. I play the show on both my PS3 and Vita using my US account.

Yeah its working fine. Im well into my franchise due to it. Getting 2 extra games a day to and from work. The best thing that could ever have happened is the Vita, the Show and the cloud!
