My game departed at 07.14 so it seems like its on a slightly different plane. In Norway atleast we don't have any extra customs on videogames but we do have to pay 25% taxes if they are over 35$ and in addition they take a handling fee. Sometimes you won't get it, but most big companies put the value on the package so its easy to bill you the extra money. You might have something similar in sweden.

I have no idea how it works in the UK but you might have free imports if you never get any extra charges when ordering from other countries.

I've never been in such a rush to finish a game of golf and get home to start the flight tracker. We really are a sad lot.

So mine left "Erlanger" (I guess it's in Kentucky but who knows?) this morning at 7:14. Not sure what that means and whether it's on a plane now or not. But at least it looks like it won't be much longer till it arrives for me in Germany!

The only downside for me with MLB 13 just about to arrive is that I'll no longer be "in the game".

I make a very fleeting appearance in one of the crowd shots in the intro video of the "Game 162" final day. Just after Evan Longoria hits his first home run to cut the Yankees lead to 7-6, there's a view of the crowd with a "We Believe" sign. I'm a couple of rows below the sign, blocked by the person in front of me, but just before the scene transitions to the next crowd scene my face starts to peek out from behind the person in front of me.

That's my MLB claim to fame.

I was at Camden Yards that night, I think we probably remember it with different levels of fondness At least I managed to avoid a close-up depressed Sox fan mugshot in the intro.
